Keri Phelps and Dr. Kristina Ferro have been honored as the Governor’s Award winners at the Milltown Primary School for the 2024-2025 school year.
Ms. Phelps, who is a 4th Grade Teacher, is the Governor’s Educator of the Year honoree while Dr. Ferro, the Milltown School Psychologist, is the recipient of the Governor’s Educational Service Professional Award.
“I love this school and I feel so special here working with the staff and the community,” Ms. Phelps said.
“I am so grateful for this award. Milltown is amazing and the people here are very special,” Dr. Ferro said.
Two staff members received these prestigious awards at each of the 11 schools in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District.
A ceremony will be held this spring to honor all 22 of the recipients. They will also be recognized at a Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District Board of Education meeting this winter.
