There were basketballs—not eggs—in that nest.
That nest was Hillside Intermediate School’s highly popular Night at the Nest annual Parent/Teacher Basketball Tournament that was played on Thursday evening, January 23.
The nest’s venue was Hillside’s gym where the school’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) organized a fun-night of basketball that involved teachers, parents and students.
According to Weny Faiella,who serves as the Co-President of the Hillside PTO with the equally dedicated and devoted Noelle Hart, parents and teachers are teamed and play five-minute, half-court games.
“We also have Hillside students compete in a basketball shootout. It's a wonderful winter event held at Hillside!,” Ms. Faiella said.
