Celebrity chef

A celebration of diversity was celebrated during the holidays at the Hillside Intermediate School.

Hillside’s annual—and very popular—Celebrity Chef event was held on Thursday, December 12.

The school’s gymnasium was packed with hungry guests who were presented with an assortment of various foods from all over the world.

They were served by 50 chefs who were parents, students and staff from Hillside.

Kiran Masud, the school’s 5th Grade English Language Arts Teacher, was the main host to this delicious affair.

“This (Celebrity Chef) is one of Hillside's most exciting events because it celebrates our diversity and the immense positive impact we can have when we come together as a community,” Ms. Masud claimed.

She also reported that the school raised an estimated $3,000 from an evening of good eats.
