Amanda Ciser is just a freshman but she was cool as an upper classman as she sank a three-point shot from the corner when the buzzer sounded to give Bridgewater-Raritan High School a 36-34 girls' basketball victory over Delaware Valley Regional High School on Tuesday evening, January 7, at Vaughn Stapleton Gym in Bridgewater.
"We drew it up (during the timeout) that Amanda would either dump the ball down low or shoot and she made the right decision,'' said Xavier Brooks , the Bridgewater-Raritan head coach. "She is just a freshman, too."
Ciser, whose winning shot erased a 34-33 deficit, was confident when she let the ball off from the corner of the court.
"As soon as I shot I knew that it was going in" Ciser revealed as Bridgewater-Raritan improved to 2-5 on the season.
