Coach and players all agree that there will be excitement, fun and success this fall during the Bridgewater-Raritan High School field hockey season.
“I am feeling extremely excited and hopeful for this season,” claimed Sami Strathern, Bridgewater-Raritan’s field hockey coach. “We have spent two seasons working to build the team up and I am starting to see the positive changes and growth in the players. The girls are playing as a team with high quality passing sequences and have improved their decision making.”
Her key senior leaders shared the same enthusiasm.
“We just love our team atmosphere and we are having fun,” senior midfielder Emma Ciocon reflected.
“We are a young team but we are excited for the season," junior forward Giada Catanzaro said.
“We are dynamic on the field as a team and we will be good,” sophomore midfielder Teagan Hughes predicted.
Coach Strathern is prepared for an offensive-type season when Bridgewater-Raritan will make some noise.
“ I think this year will be a high scoring game for us and that we will challenge our opponents in our conference,’ Coach Strathern said.
