The skills of the students in the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Theatre Arts program are recognized beyond the high school’s auditorium.
Heather Diaforli-Day reported during the school district’s Spring Break that the students who performed on stage and off stage for the Bridgewater-Raritan Theatre Arts have been nominated for an elite honor.
According to Ms. Diaforli--Day, who is the Bridgewater-Raritan Theatre Arts Director, the news was well received—and well earned.
“The nominations for the 2024-2025 Montclair State University Theatre Foxy Awards were announced. The cast/crew of both Radium Girls and High School Musical received multiple nominations.,” she stated.
Ms. Diaforli-Day continued in her announcement.
“The winners will be announced at the Theatre Night Awards on May 19, but this is an honor to receive these nominations for all of your outstanding work on the shows.”
Radium Girls was presented this school year in December while High School Musical was performed in May of 2024. Both shows were presented in front of large audiences in the Bridgewater-Raritan High School auditorium.
“I am really proud of these kids and it is wonderful for them to be noticed for their work,” Ms. Diaforli-Day said.
