Adamsville light show

A glowing laser show and an energetic crowd participated when the Adamsville Primary School turned the lights on for The Great Kindness Challenge.

Adamsville's SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) Committee, with assistance from the school’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), launched its Great Kindness Challenge before a festival crowd on Thursday, January 23 when the school-wide assembly was staged in the All-Purpose Room.

The energetic gathering was treated to The Prismatic Light Show that was presented to the school by Prismatic Magic

According to the website for the company that is headquartered in Kinnelon:

“At Prismatic Magic Laser Programs, we’ve revolutionized educational and fun school assemblies. Our mission is to inspire children to learn in new ways and to use fun to unlock children’s desire to learn. For over two decades, we’ve inspired countless children to love learning through our captivating laser light shows. Our laser programs all feature hit music and stunning laser animation to excite and inspire every student, making it a surefire school assembly idea. Your kids will be singing and cheering throughout, all while wanting to learn more!”

The spearhead behind this lights-out assembly was Suzy Michales, a 1st Grade Teacher at Adamsville.

“This incredible event was made possible by our amazing PTO. The assembly was all about kindness, friendship, and showing care for others,” she stated.

Ms. Michaels further shared the mission of her school.

“Through an exciting laser adventure, students were inspired to spread kindness wherever they go. Next week, the students and staff will participate in The Great Kindness Challenge full of fun dress-up days and a big challenge to see how many acts of kindness we can complete to show that KINDNESS MATTERS.”

She concluded.

“Even small acts can make a BIG difference! It is an incredible way to come together as a school community and spread positivity.”
