Jason Mauriello

A presentation on the New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment results was delivered when the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District Board of Education held its public meeting on Tuesday, July 23.

Jason Mauriello, the school district's Director of 21st Century Learning and Data Analysis, reported on the ACCESS results for English Language Learners and the New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment (NJGPA).

His presentation demonstrated student improvement in the assessments

"More students met the score needed to exit from ESL (English as a Second Language) services, and there was an increase in average score in K-4 compared to the previous year," Mr. Mauriello shared. "It is wonderful to see an increase since this was the first year that ESL services were offered in each of our seven primary schools."
