The Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District welcomes all students of all grade levels to the District who reside in either Bridgewater Township or Raritan Borough. Students entering Kindergarten or Grade 1 must meet the criteria for age eligibility as described below in order to be enrolled. All others may proceed to the Process for Registration section.

Kindergarten Registration 2025-2026

• A child turning 5 years old on or before October 1, 2025 is eligible to be enrolled in the BRRSD Kindergarten program for September 2025.

• Please check your child's assigned school for Kindergarten program hours.

• During the summer, you will be notified of your child's assignment.

• Students currently enrolled in the district Pre-K program, do not need to register.

First Grade Registration 2025-2026

• A child turning 6 years old on or before October 1, 2025 who attended an equivalent Kindergarten program outside of the BRRSD, is eligible to be enrolled into First Grade for September 2025.

• Students currently enrolled in the district Kindergarten program, do not need to register.

Process for Registration

Required documents for registration

• Proof of Residency (Please submit 2 of the following: property tax bill, mortgage statement, copy of executed deed, signed settlement statement, copy of executed lease,  current utility bills)

  • All bills/statements must be less than 2 months old, and the parent/legal guardian's name, date, and address must all be visible - Pictures of envelopes will not be accepted

• Birth Certificate

• Immunization Records

• Current Physical Examination (  A physical is considered current when it is less than one year old.)

• Student Transcript/Report Card (if available)

In order to avoid potential enrollment delays, please turn in your documentation as soon as possible.

No in-person appointments are necessary. Parents can complete the process remotely and upload all the required documents to the online application.
